Most businesses or organizations don’t have a clear vision of who their target audience is . In order to create the content and/or products they are looking for, you need to know who they are. In the Disney/Pixar movie, BRAVE, Merida aimed, focus and took her “shot” when she was ready. She knew exactly what she needed to do to hit the bulls-eye. It’s not any different in business.
Can you describe your target market/audience ? How old is he/she? Married ? Kids – how many? What are their interests? Where do they live ? What is their income level ?
These might be silly questions but they go a long way to describe your target market and make engaging with your customers/clients so much easier. This is also equally important for creating marketing campaigns as well as create new products.
Quite simply – You need to get specific about your target market. Know their likes and dislikes. Create a persona .
