I’m sure many of you have seen many of these type of e-courses on different sites and there are a few key things that you need to be certain of when you use this method of email marketing. Whether it is a paid or free course is entirely up to you. Many marketers choose to do a FREE mini course followed up with a paid product/service. Generally, most customers will buy the follow up product once they have a “taste. ”
Use mini courses to get highly-targeted prospects.
You are developing a list that wants something specific, so give it to them. By developing a mini course - you are getting a very specific topic out to readers who want or need this information. Always make sure to promote your course and get others to help you do that. Just because you build it , doesn’t mean people will take advantage of it if they don’t know about it.
Always be sure that the content you are delivering is quality and up-to-date information.
Make sure you are following up with your prospects, even after the mini course is finished. You want to use your follow up email to give your readers more information and offer highly-relevant products.
